Tarot card number 10 speaks of the end of a cycle of destiny, something that has come to its conclusion and now growth will occur from this point, or in a new direction entirely.
When a lot of ten’s appear it suggests the process where we settle up loose ends and make a conscious decision to leave the past behind and move forward.
It’s a time of reaping rewards for past efforts, but can also be a period of challenge for those who perhaps persisted on a destructive path or didn’t make necessary changes before.
In some manner, the rewards and/or consequences from before are manifesting now and the impacts are being felt. It’s also a good time to plot your next move or consider areas where it may be best to move in a new direction from here on.
If what has been previously established has served you well, build on it from here. If not, consider what changes may be necessary to get you back on track again.
The number 7 in Tarot is a deeply philosophical and spiritual number. When you see the seven’s come up in abundance it speaks of the need for introspection. People who carry this number often need time alone to unwind and to contemplate things before opening up to others.
Seven often comes up around introverted people, those who are deeply thoughtful and compassionate, but tend to not wear their heart on their sleeve so to speak. As a result, they may be mistaken for disconnected or aloof, but in reality, they simply prefer to process their emotions independently.
Sevens in abundance suggest that this quality is something that would best serve the current situation. Rather than rely too heavily on the opinions of others or what you “think” you should do, be still and sit with the current issue. Allow your answers to flow to you and don’t over-analyze, but allow.
This card often comes up around resistance. You know those times that you look back on and think “I really knew better, but I did it anyway”… Sometimes we are not willing to listen to the still, small voice of Spirit. Seven’s in abundance warn us not to do this, but to internalize and contemplate before moving ahead in haste.
Strengths of the Seven: Intuitition, higher levels of awareness and the ability to solve problems using well-rounded thought patterns. Introspection and considering the higher meaning and purpose of all situations. Slow, thoughtful, deliberate actions.
Challenges of the Seven: A tendency to be too self-involved at times or oblivious to others, can appear aloof or disconnected. Sometimes 7’s feel so misunderstood that they do disconnect from others when they might benefit from some added perspective.
Every Tarot card has personality traits associated with it. These can be helpful when looking at other people, but also for personal reflection. Perhaps you want to know what your greatest strengths and challenges are? The cards can give great insight into the personality and help you develop strengths and face your weaknesses.
The Empress is the matriarch of the Tarot and symbolizes fertility and abundance. She represents those who are nurturing and compassionate by nature, sometimes so much so that they put everyone ahead of themselves when not properly aligned.
People with this card tend to base their sense of identity and self-worth on others and on their roles and so long as they properly balance this with self-care, it’s a wonderful thing.
Empress people are also very creative and expressive and must use that ability to thrive. Sequestering the creative energies in this personality can be detrimental to spiritual and mental health. Empress people thrive when they are using their creativity to solve problems and to provide comfort and sustenance to others.
Pregnancy in this card is not only symbolic of fertility in the physical sense, but of the creative life force that wants to manifest. The Empress person must have freedom to express themselves and should strive to keep a sense of personal identity separate from other people.
Empress people are most often drawn to artistic fields, teaching and the healing professions. They tend to be empathic and compassionate and others are drawn to their loving energy.
Sometimes Empress people love a project so much that they may attract people who are broken in an attempt to fix them. People with this card need to be very discerning in personal friendships and romantic relationships to ensure they are drawing healthy people into their circle. The best way for this to happen is to focus on self-love and acceptance first.
Today, I am posting to announce a few changes happening on my site. I have agonized for awhile now on steps I can take to keep my website running and still provide great, affordable services to my clients.
I have been providing email and live readings on my site for the same rates for 17 years. Unfortunately, hosting costs and the cost of living have continued to increase along with my costs, while things like ad revenue have plummeted in recent years. For those reasons, I have eliminated the various email spreads I offered previously and am offering a unique, simplified process where you will still get top-notch, incredibly detailed readings from me that are customized to meet your needs.
You can purchase email readings at $10 each. When you order your reading and present your question I will do a customized spread that works best for your unique question. The upside is now you don’t have to spend time searching through spreads and trying to figure out which one best meets your own needs. You simply order and all that is
When you order your reading and present your question I will do a customized spread that works best for your unique question. The upside is now you don’t have to spend time searching through spreads and trying to figure out which one best meets your own needs. You simply order and all of that is provided for you. If you absolutely have your heart set on a specific spread you can always contact me :).
This is a big change I know – and I hope it simplifies life for both of us while continuing to provide outstanding value for my new and returning clients.
Live readings however are going to see a price increase and only be offered in 60 and 90 minute time slots going forward. Half hour slots are no longer available. The 30 minute appointments were getting difficult to manage, particularly with no-shows and reschedules. That not only ended up costing me time and revenue, but made it harder for me to schedule other clients who were also waiting.
The increased costs of $35 for a 60 minute reading and $50 for a 90 minute are still far less than most other services. These modest increases will help me cover my hosting expenses, uncomplicate my scheduling and ensure that I can continue to provide outstanding guidance and service to my clients for many more years to come.
I understand some will be upset by my decision to not offer 30 minute slots anymore and I’m sorry for any inconvenience this causes, however it is for the best interest of my site and other clients that I simplify and it’s easier for me to schedule a couple of longer readings in a day than several 30 minute ones.
I have been wrestling with restructuring my services for ages now. I wanted to ensure I did so in a way that will work to everyone’s benefit and I hope that you will continue to support my site and enjoy all of the free offerings as well. (look for those to also expand going forward)
Change is never easy of course, but I hope these changes will allow me to provide my best services to all those who visit SpiritualGuidanceTarot.com as a resource for personal growth and inspiration.
The Devil Tarot card is one of the more complex cards in the deck and also one that tends to be misunderstood.
When it appears around the person asking the question; it tends to point to self-sabotage and our deepest, underlying fears that can work against us.
Some of the benefits of this card are self-awareness, taking accountability for our actions rather than making excuses.
The challenges of this card can be a variety of issues. You may struggle with bad habits or addictions that require behavior modifications or better understanding.
Many people with this card struggle to form appropriate, strong boundaries with others and can fall prey to narcissists and others who tend to take advantage of the emotionally vulnerable.
Conversely, you may be someone who struggles with being manipulative towards others when you fear loss, abandonment etc.
The Devil and Relationships
When the Devil card appears in Tarot around another person; it tends to indicate someone who is likely being deceptive or only serving their own self-interests. Devil people tend to be narcissistic, self-serving in a selfish way – they look out for themselves and will say or do whatever it takes to get their own way.
In relationships, these people tend to be very difficult to live with. Often they are charming at first, but later on, their true colors are revealed. The reasons many Devil people tend to be controlling, however, is that deep down they are deeply insecure. They feel compelled to control others because they don’t want to feel vulnerable themselves or risk rejection, abandonment etc.
Dealing with a Devil card is always a challenge, however, it also provides an opportunity to see ourselves and others with more clarity. No one is without “darkness” or “challenge”. What we resist persists. If you find you are plagued with bad habits that sabotage you; take a look below the surface of these problems and get to the heart of the fear or issue.
If you find you are repeatedly drawn into relationships with challenging people, explore that also. Are you struggling with your sense of self? Do you feel the need to please others at your own expense? If so, what fears are fueling that tendency?
The Devil’s gift is reflection – and when we do this honestly we can overcome the obstacles that sabotage us.
