ace cups free tarot readingTarot Wisdom: Ace of Cups

Bountiful abundance flows, the cup runneth over. Peace descends down upon the weary soul of the seeker, and the soul comes of age, learning to understand and appreciate the immense value of its own worth and its true place in the cosmic scheme of things. You must also come of age. You must come to a point where you understand that you are a Divine creation, rich with potential.  Do what needs to be done to elevate your sense of self-worth, not by ego gratification, but by honoring your true spirit and connection with all that is.

Position 1: Background | Present Concern

You are able to recognize the blessings in life, however, at this time you may feel something is still missing or that you are not living up to your fullest potential.

Position 2: Your Drive and Motivation

You are driven by a need to find your niche or use your fullest potential to do something rewarding and to make better decisions in your life. A need to feel that you are doing something of genuine value; feeling a higher sense of purpose.

Position 3: What’s Blocking You – Fears and Subconscious Blocks

Fear of being used. A tendency towards being taken advantage of because the need to please others for a feeling of acceptance makes it hard for you to say “No”. Lack of faith in yourself is the biggest fear that is needing to be addressed at this time. This lack of confidence/hope can cause you to veer from your path and act against your own best interests.

Position 4: Perspective and Further Awareness – What you Need to See Clearly

In this position, the Ace of Cups challenges you to let go of struggle and allow the Higher to Lead. When we release the need to be “in control” we open our energy up to allow for Divine intervention. Thoughts of worry or want can lead to feelings of lack, drawing more of the same to you. Focusing our fulfillment on the acceptance of others leads to self-neglect.

Position 5: Course of Action

Things have a tendency to work themselves out when we let go of struggling with them. Take a deep breath, let go, and see what happens. Don’t be afraid to say “no” and to put yourself first. This card reminds us that an empty cup can’t quench anyone’s thirst. We must first be at peace within before we can best give peace and comfort to others.
